Here's a few birds I have seen here at work.
First our own angry bird in June. This killdeer was charging me and making all kinds of racket. I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, until I noticed the eggs in the upper right.
June 7th I was out trying to get photo's of the geese round up. We have 100's of them around here, and they are quite a nuisance. So after the babies have hatched and the parents have shed their flight feathers, they round them up and relocate them. Some (lots) come back. While I was walking around the creek, I seen these two. The brown one is a willet, and the colorful one is an American Avocet.

There is a large brown raptor on the commute. I am pretty convinced it's a golden eagle, my uncle is pretty convinced it's a turkey vulutre. I have not been able to get a photo of it to determine what it is. But here's a video of it soaring. I only had my phone, so it's not so hot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5TPBDOwkBI&feature=plcp
I keep waiting to see it again to get a better photo of it.
I can see Ben Lomond mountain from work, which means the air is pretty clear. I'm about ~50 miles away. I always feel closer to home when I can see Ben Lomond.
