There's lots of things I see on the way to work. Animals, boxes, cups, plastic bags, flowers, all sorts of stuff. There's the cool stuff I get pics of and post here. But there was something odd, very, very odd on the way a couple weeks ago. There is this pile of, well, what looks like sawdust on the side of the road. Unusual, but not something to pay much mind to.

But the wind blows out on Legacy all the time. This is spring, so it blows and blows. And this pile of sawdust, just stayed there. For weeks. Weeks. That makes it very interesting. Day after day, this pile of sawdust persists. So I had to stop and take a picture of it. I would just love to know what is binding this pile together, but I'm not touching it!

The very same day I finally stopped and took photos of the sawdust. A most magnificent bird flew around work. A juvenile bald eagle. So cool.

You know spring is here when the sand cranes return.

I suggest exercising caution when reading blogs. Especially DIY blogs. Or watching DIY tv shows. Because eventually you'll think OH, I can do that! And then you do that, and then you remember that you really dislike doing that. But now it's started it has to be finished. This weekend paint. I keep thinking I need a place for my grandson to put his clothes when they come. I remembered I had this.

But I have to say, I love this stripper. It works really well and doesn't stink, it actually smells okay. We used it on the floor of our spare bedroom to strip the old finish. I'll never use a different product when I have to strip paint.
Now it's ready for paint. Grey, with black in the cutouts. Photos when it get done.
It's a long story, but we have fish again. Because of a cracked pond, and a them needing a home, and so they returned. And Buster has found the fish... again. Him being the reason we've not had fish in the last couple years. He is funny to watch though, he's pretty determined to figure out how to get to those fish.

And I got the 2nd hippo done. Huzzah. Two blankets to get done, then Vincent's hippo and blanket will be on their way. And I got Amanda's Monster Backpack done, which I got the yarn for before her wedding. I love getting things done!

Mother's day was laid back. Kristen sent me a cool frame with photos! We got my mom a mailbox. She needed one. Not really sentimental, but I don't worry about her mail getting all sorts of ick. Then Mike and I went and seen Ironman 3. Not too bad.
