I've got to start having my camera with me.  Lots of photo opps that I blow past on the drive in and home.

Weirdest thing, last week, over Layton, there was a bunch of birds (starlings?) flying in unison, but in a row.  They ususally fly together like a huge black cloud doing acrobats.  But last Thursday they all lined up in a row.  Bizzare.

On an early evening drive to the airport we seen several red tailed hawks.  One of which had a duck, yes a duck, in it's claws fighting to keep it's balance on a fence post.

The pelicans are back, for about a month.  Seen them in Farmington pond and Kaysville pond.  But not as many as I ususally see.

A dark brown/rabbit hopped accross all 4 lanes sucessfully this morning on Legacy parkway.  That's one wascially wabbit to get through north and south traffic safely.  It was the first rabbit I've seen (dead or alive) on the parkway since it's been open.

My team at work has moved floors, and I'm next to the window.  There is a small red tail hawk that has been hunting and roosing right near here.  I've tried to get photos several times, but it's just too quick!  At least 2x a day the hawk comes soaring in and swooping with a mouse in it's claws.  I haven't seen it today though.

Lagoon's mute swans are back on their nest.  I don't know how many eggs they have yet.  I'll post photo's of them later.

The elk calf that was born there, though, is now a spike elk.  And does he love to pose for photos!

He's beautiful isn't he?  Spring is a great time of year.
