What I seen on my way to work

When I arrived at work this week there was an egg shell in the gutter.  I don't think it is early enough for it to have hatched.  Perhaps it was a new life, or sustenance to keep another life going.

These flowers  bloom in the spring.  I know spring is here when these flowers bloom and there begins to appear large carpets of blue covering the roadside as I drive into work.   Makes me smile.  There is something unique about each of the seasons, this is May.
