It has been a whirlwind month and a half. The weather in Utah has been from snow, freeze, to almost 70 degrees and sunny. Spring is here, this is how it goes in Utah. I was in Tennessee/Kentucky for two weeks and it snowed there. It never snows there I am assured. But it did the night my grandson, Vincent Wayne was born, and twice while I was there shortly after he was born. Here's a couple good photo's of Moose 'reading' to him.

I was there for 2 weeks to help my daughter, Kristen move to a new house. I didn't get to meet this little guy until he was a couple weeks old. Such a precious little one. And Moose is a a good big brother as you can see.
His Mom is a pretty good mom too. ;o)

We went to the Nashville Zoo,

and moved.

I was in no way prepared for that move. My son-in-law had to go out into the field, so it was up to us. My daughter's friend, Alisha (God bless you!) came and helped, so three women, a 4 year old and an infant. We whooped it. And I was whooped for the next 2 days. That pretty much wraps up the vacation. But I got lots of time in with my grandkids and there's nothing better than that.
Moose has a keen eye for photos, we'll have to encourage him to keep this up. Here's one from the airport. I'll have to do a post on just his photos one day. He's good for a 4 year old. Heck, he takes better photos than a lot of adults.

I've knitted one hippo and an 1.3 feet short of the 2nd. One for each of the new grandsons.
I got home just in time for a baby shower. Fun, but I was exhausted and glad to get it over with. My youngest daughter got lots of stuff.

A special belated Easter package from Kristen... what a kid! I really needed more toys for work.
Then it was waiting for the new baby to come. A day at Lagoon, hoping to help things along.

And finally he made his grand appearance, after putting us through a tense night. You think you've raised your kids and are done worrying much about them. Then in the delivery room, she and her husband get the news that things are not coming along, and they could wait a bit more, but the safest thing after this many hours is a c-section.

And you find yourself encouraging and prepping your kid for the most scary thing of her life, and once they wheel her into the OR you know it's one of the scariest moments (then minutes, then hours) of your life.
But on the other side of it all, mom and son were great. Dad was a little worse for wear, but he'll be okay.

Here's Diesel John, the newest member of the family. These were taken the afternoon of 4/12/2013.
And here's one of only two of me. Sometimes I forget to pass the camera to someone to get photo's of me. Amanda grabbed it and got a couple.

It's been busy couple months. Back to that resolution to update this blog more. I have more stuff to say, and more photos to post. OH! I'm grateful to say, these
blankets are the favorites. Good thing, after all I went though to bring them to fruition.
